私たちも、いつか星となる。

かつて人類は、夜空に瞬く星々を結び、オリオン座や黄道十二星座をはじめとする88の星座を描きました。それらは単なる天体の並びではなく、食物の豊作や人知を超えた存在への祈りが込められていたのかもしれません。もし私たちが新たな星座をつくるとしたら、どのような形を描き、どのような願いを込めるでしょうか。

DOTHUMANは、食べる喜びや、踊りによる感情の表現などの「根源的行動」をテーマに星座を描きました。徒歩や馬で旅をした時代から、車や飛行機で空を越える時代へ。やがて未来では、AIや機械の進化によって全く新しい移動手段や瞬間移動が現れるかもしれません。それでも料理を味わう幸せや、身体を動かす瞬間の美しさは残り続けるでしょう。

私たちが見上げる星空は、何光年も前の光だと言われています。かつての人類が未来への道標として星座に想いを託したように、DOTHUMANもまた現代の想いを未来へ託します。未来の姿は誰にもわかりません。しかし、今を懸命に生きることが、次の時代へ光を照らすのです。

Someday, we too shall become stars.

Long ago, humanity traced patterns through the shimmering night sky, connecting distant lights to form the 88 constellations—Orion and the zodiac among them. These were not merely arrangements of celestial bodies, but perhaps quiet prayers: for abundant harvests, for protection, for guidance from forces beyond human understanding.If we were to create new constellations today, what shapes would we draw? What hopes would we entrust to them?

DOTHUMAN depicts constellations inspired by our most fundamental human acts— the joy of eating, the expression of emotion through dance. From an age when we traveled on foot or by horse, to one in which we cross skies by car and airplane, humanity has continually transformed its means of movement. In the future, AI and advancing technologies may give rise to entirely new forms of travel—perhaps even teleportation. And yet, the happiness of tasting food, the beauty found in moving one’s body—these will remain.The starlight we gaze upon tonight is said to have begun its journey light-years ago.

Just as our ancestors entrusted their hopes to the constellations as guides for the future, DOTHUMAN carries the spirit of our present into what lies ahead.No one knows what form the future will take.But to live this moment with all our strength—that is what casts light upon the next age.
